Welcome to our Production Note #3 on this cold and rainy Friday afternoon in Vienna. Here’s what happened in the last week:
On Monday, Lisa and Wolfgang finished working their way through the latest version of the movie, deciding what to cut out, what to cut short and what to rearrange. All in all, Lisa took 17 pages (!) of notes and tasks. She’s been busy the rest of the week executing all the changes that have come up.
In the meantime, Wolfgang spent a lot of time looking for additional archive footage – images to illustrate the stories that are told in the movie. Already, some pieces have been cleared, but we hope there’s much more to come.
We were also able to hire a really great Title and Graphic Designer, Klaus Mitter, who will design all the titles and graphic elements around the movie. He’s been working with many of the cool movie and TV productions in Austria in the last couple of years, one of his latest projects was the award-winning TV series “Altes Geld (Old Money)”. There’s not a shadow of a doubt that Klaus will contribute tremendously to making our movie look great.
That’s about it for this week.
We all can’t wait the see the next version of the movie, we’re also very curious about how long this next version will be when all the changes are done.
We’ll report about it in next week’s Production Note, so stay tuned.
